In February 2011 I mounted the 7th manifestation of the Singularity at the Berlinale Forum Expanded, producing a question about the Singularity's multiplicity. How does context contaminate this simple abstract form? In the clean white Contemporary Art Gallery, at the swampy designated protest zone of the G8, or lost in the vast atrium of the Sony Centre, Potsdammer Platz, how do the same materials form new assemblages to reveal both their physical and historical envelope?
